I was dining at a Japanese Restaurant called Keyaki in Pan Pacific Hotel - Singapore, and here is a cool bowl (or whatever you call this…) they used to put pickles.

Artworks by Japanese artist - Takahiro Iwasaki

Here, I am showing you a small part of his artworks displayed in his studio at New York City.

Meeting him in person at New York City was great! Such a funny cute guy, so warm and super friendly~

Here, is a mini mini utility tower constructed using toothbrush’s bristles mounted on a handle… imagine the SIZE of it…

Down here, is a super micro Japanese architecture constructed with super glue and red colour treads of the socks (<—- Yes, it is the black colored thing…and Iwasaki said it was his socks, hahahaha)

Before I rush off to somewhere else, I offered to take a picture with him… But..he closed his eyes for all 3 photos …hahahaha (I am just speechless…)

As seen in the potrait above, there is a  black little thing on top of my head, and a close zoom up on that, is this!

This utility tower is made out of hair! (<—- again… is the artist’s hair…)

These few works are of archietechture commonly found in Japan, so i suppose he must be feeling home-sick… True! No matter where am I, what I am doing, I will still miss Singapore as a home:)
